On August 27, five large trucks loaded with complete sets of mud non landing harmless treatment equipment slowly drove out of the plant area of Heilongjiang Wanyida Petroleum engineering Co., Ltd. to Well Zhou 13ping 1 of 40103 drilling crew of Daqing Oil Field Drilling Company II, the drilling waste mud will be non landing harmless treatment for half a month.
This is the second "expedition" of the equipment after the harmless disposal of waste drilling mud in Well Nan7-10-P2026 of 1205 Drilling Crew Well La10-Xi-PX27125 of 15170 Drilling Crew of Daqing Oil Field Drilling Company II.
Harmless treatment calls for new technologies
According to data, PetroChina drilling approximately 20000 wells annually. Drilling with a depth of less than 2000 meters produces around 400 cubic meters of waste mud, while drilling with a depth of around 6000 meters produces around 5000 cubic meters of waste mud. Therefore, these 20000 wells will produce 100 million cubic meters of waste mud. That is to say, PetroChina alone requires at least billions of cubic meters of drilling mud additives waste mud to undergo harmless treatment every year.
As early as 2010, the Ministry of Environmental Protection provided a clear explanation for the term "treatment" in "sludge generated waste drilling fluid treatment", which means "separation through sieve, flocculation, sedimentation". The traditional treatment method for oilfield drilling waste mud is to use a tank truck to pull the waste mud into a 20000 to 50000 square meter mud pit covered with anti-seepage cloth for solidification treatment. It is then stirred by a hook machine to turn it into a solid state, then covered with 10-20 cm thick loess for landfill. Due to the impossibility of achieving ideal uniformity by using a hook machine for stirring, the requirements for harmless treatment cannot be met.
